Amisha Patel

Amisha Patel was born in 9 June, 1976 in South Mumbai, India. Her nick name is Angel. Her father name is Amit Patel and her mother name is Asha Patel.Her father is a businessman and he is doing business in audio- magnetic tapes She is the granddaughter of the Indian lawyer Rajni Patel, the late Indira Gandhi’s right hand man. She has one brother also and his name is Ashmit Patel.

She has completed her study from Cathedral and John Connon School. She was head girl in the 1992-1993, in this school. She has done graduation in Economics from Tufts University, Medford, Massachusetts in United States. She is gold medalists in Economics.

Amisha Patel started her film career from the film kaho naa… pyaar hai in 2000. She has got name and fame overnight. She also got a success in her next movie- Gadar Ek Prem Katha. She has done very tough role with dignity, grace and sensitivity. After that, her series of movies did flop at box-office. However, she got a chance in Aamir Khan’s movie- The Rising, in 2005. She has done most of the movies such as Badri, Yeh Zindagi Ka Safar, Kranti, Kya Yehi Pyaar Hai and Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage. She has experienced ups and downs in her life, but she never looking back. Tathaastu is her coming film.
